How well architectural courses are serving the firms that will be employing them
All UK architectural schools are being sent a for display to their students.
Students currently attending a UK architectural school are invited to fill in the questionaire at www.wikisurvey.info. It should take no more than ten minutes
What is the difference between a wikisurvey and a conventional survey? With a normal survey the comments are collected and turned into a single document that captures a moment in time. A wikisurvey is ongoing and the summary results are made continaully available and continually updated as new forms are returned.
This means that if a person finds the published results to date do not correspond with their experience they will be motivated to complete a form. In this way a Wikisurvey is much more up to date and accurate that a conventional survey
If you are a full time architectural student in the UK, please complete the following questionaire only in respect of your experience of your course for this academic year, i.e. 2012/2013.
In September 2013 the results to date of this wikisurvey will be made public and made available to all interested parties including the RIBA Education Department, the RIBA Education Committee, all participating schools and students, the architectural journals and national newspapers and television
Following that this wikisurvey for the academic year 2012/2013 will remain open until April 2014 when the final results will be published. A new wikisurvey for the academic year 2013/2014 will then be launched.
